Key Responsibilities:
🔧 Produce and review detailed electrical calculations, drawings, and deliverables.
🌐 Manage electrical scope on medium to large complexity projects, from Pre-FEED through to EPC.
🤝 Liaise with clients and third parties as Wood’s technical representative.
👩💼 Supervise and mentor less experienced engineers.
💼 Support recruitment, training, and development of electrical personnel.
Requirements:
🎓 Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering.
📈 Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas.
🔗 Enrolled on the Register of Engineers in the State of Qatar (MMUP) or Chartered Engineer.
💡 Proven core Electrical Engineering skills with design experience.
🌐 Familiarity with high, medium, and low voltage design, solar energy, and power management systems.
🚀 Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects, on and offshore, from Pre-FEED through to EPC.
Skills:
🛠️ Proficient in ETAP, SPEL, and Aveva Electrical.
📊 Experienced in Electrical HAZOP/SAFOP.
🌍 Knowledge of international design codes and standards.
📈 Ability to impact and influence fellow workers.
💻 Construction and site experience.
📈 Proactive with excellent communication skills.
