Job Summary:
The Plant Operator assists the crew in performing site operations to the complete satisfaction of the client under the direction of the Site Supervisor. He/she is responsible for delivering high-quality services to clients, with service quality, job preparation, planning, and job safety as key directives. Additionally, the Plant Operator is responsible for their development within the Training & Development program and ensures compliance with specific objectives and standards assigned by the WSS, OPS, and OM/SDM.
Job Responsibilities:
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Apply the Safety, Health, and Environment Policies in accordance with local and corporate policies.
- Avoid undertaking any task for which authorization and/or training has not been given.
- Follow safe working practices and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Ensure a safe work area, promote safe working practices, and aim for an accident- and incident-free environment.
- Participate in regular Safety Meetings at the base and on-site.
Quality Management:
- Demonstrate a visible commitment to the concept of Service Quality.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures in all areas of responsibility.
Operational:
- Participate in the maintenance of all equipment by established procedures.
- Operate in accordance with the information and training provided.
- As a crew member, ensure high-quality service with optimal economic and technical efficiency.
Accountability:
- Work closely with the direct manager and Job Supervisor to learn and develop competencies.
- Have the authority and responsibility to report any unsafe act to the direct supervisor.
- Engage in the training and development program by performing all tasks assigned to the Plant Operator.
