Monitors device operation and power production locally. Makes rounds, checking the condition of all operating machinery. Records operating data in logs, maintains records. Starts stops and operates device in accordance with site Operating Procedures and per the direction of the control room operator and Shift Supervisor. Helps maintaining power output to meet system demand without exceeding machinery’s design capacity.
