Worley is currently recruiting for a Dock Silo – Field Operator for a fixed term contract.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our onshore team on the Phillips66.
Key aims and objectives:
- A requirement is for this role to carry out various duties as listed below whilst following set operating procedures as laid down in HR-DIVD-SILO-105, Unit Operating Manual Coke Silos.
Role Requirements:
- A requirement is that this role be qualified as Ship loader operators to load vessels using the Dock Silos Moving Gantry Ship Loader Appliance with different grades of Calcined coke. The Ship loaders will be trained to the Phillips 66 Standard for this activity.A requirement is that this role be qualified as Rough Terrain / Bobcat drivers. As trained Rough Terrain drivers, the operators will be required to change fines bags following a set operating procedure on the travelling gantry and in other static locations around site. The driver will be responsible for the correct marking and storing of each grade of coke fines produced on site. The driver will be responsible for loading bags to flatbed lorries as and when required. The driver will be responsible for the pre-use checks of the Rough terrain forklift.A requirement is that this role take, label, then transfer coke samples to the site pick up point. Training in Coke Sample Taking will be to the Phillips 66 Standard for this activity. This role will be responsible for coke sampling, taken by both the automatic sampler and by hand; setting of the automatic sampler, to work in conjunction with the weighers. The collected samples will be moved to the pick-up point.A requirement is that this role will undertake training in order that they will know the location and use of equipment pertaining to their duties; can monitor, assess and report the working of such equipment used on site.A requirement will be for the operators to proactively prepare all equipment that will be involved in the daily operations planned and documented by written instructions. This will include the monitoring of all silo and hopper levels.A requirement is that this role after training will be aware of and can demonstrate knowledge of the site E.P.A. Permit.
- A requirement is that this role after training will be able to respond to site emergencies in accordance with the Humber Refinery Health and Safety Manual.A requirement is that this role after training, attending and passing the Humber Refinery Permit to Work course (originator / receiver & preparer), will perform electrical immobilisations and energisations on site equipment. This involves signing permits in acknowledgement of preparations.
- a requirement is that this role will, when no other duties are to be performed, carry out general cleaning duties around site and on any equipment so specified. Phillips 66 will supply the vacuum cleaning equipment plus hoses free of charge. The site operators will be trained in the correct use of the Vacuum cleaning machine, this will include pre-start checks, running checks and alarm / fault condition awareness. The operators will be responsible for the correct use of the Vacuum machine. The operative will complete any other reasonable duties on request from the client.
Person Spec
All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification:
- All personnel must be holders of a valid Safety passport.
Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:
- All personnel must have undergone the Phillips 66 induction prior to starting work.
- The contractor will be responsible for booking and completing the Phillips 66 Risk assessment training prior to attending a Permit to Work courses.
- The contractor will be responsible for booking and completing the Phillips 66 Permit to Work, Originator/Receiver& Preparer course if required.
- All personnel have to know all Procedures for working in the Restricted Areas on Dock Silo site.
- All personnel must know the Emergency Procedure and Muster point location.
