Job Name: CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR
Brief description of the main task:
Directly responsible for the operations of the Gas Plant from the control room. He monitors the operations inside the work and gas lines, as well as monitors the turbines, compressors and pumps and controls them through the control room.
Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Control room operations experience preferred
· 10+ years of relevant professional experience preferred
· Excellent practical knowledge of process / systems Gas Plant and equipment relevant to the industry sector in own discipline area
· Oil and Gas industry experience highly desired
· Strong commitment to safety and environmental policies
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Outlook
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Shift, within the industrial zones (Oil – Gas).
· Coordination with the rest of the other fields in terms of increasing or decreasing gas and condensate demand.
· Ensure that the payment balls and capacitors samples are sent on time.
· Direct contact with the rest of the departments and other fields to coordinate the work.
· Opening permits for maintenance personnel in the absence of a shift supervisor and informing the existing operator of the area in which the work is being carried out.
· Record all work in a special record
· Inform the shift supervisor of all changes that occur in the operations and receive the required instructions.
· Examine all reports received from operators and correct errors under the supervision of the shift supervisor
· Inform the operation coordinator of any major operations variables
· Coordination to direct shift operators and the unit supervisor
· Responding to emergency conditions and choices
· Compliance with the company’s rules and regulations.
· Follow safety rules
· Call the maintenance group as necessary in coordination with the shift supervisor.
