Field Operator
Work Location : Iraq – Amara
Duties & Responsibilities :
1. Operate the equipment in accordance to the guidelines, and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
2. Monitor the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis.
3. Communicate with control room operator/shift charge immediately in case of any parameter issues to ensure that the accurate condition of field equipment is maintained.
4. Take readings from charts, meters, and gauges at established intervals, and take corrective action as necessary.
5. Carry out daily planned inspections and safety tours to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
6. Perform other related duties such as the collection of samples, changing filters, changing motors and pumps, etc. ensure cost savings by coordinating with relevant departments.
7. Operate and monitor the performance of process equipment in safe manner and ensure the availability of spare equipment for immediate use if required.
8. Prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and get back in service after checks as per PTW procedure.
9. Ensures all work is in compliance with all company and regulatory policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in (Electrical Eng. /Mechanical Eng. /Control Eng.)
Field/Industry of Experience: Power Plant
Years of Experience: 3- 5 Years
Language Proficiency: Intermediate
